Owner/Barber
Jason Howland
With over five years of experience in the grooming industry, Jason is the proud owner and master barber at Black Rose Barbershop, located in Tumwater, Washington. At 44 years old, Jason has combined a passion for the classic art of barbering with a vision to create a welcoming, community-focused space.
After honing his craft and building a loyal clientele, he took the leap to open his own shop to provide Tumwater with top-tier cuts, hot shaves, and an authentic barbershop atmosphere.
When he isn't clipping hair, you can usually find Jason spending time with his wife Erica and two kids Pearl and Waylon, working out, and spending time outside.

Hey whats up! My name is Drew and with 15 years behind the chair, I am an old-school, traditional barber at heart. While I specialize in timeless, classic cuts and clean shaves, I can do some modern styles depending on what you need. For me, the chair is all about great haircuts and conversation.
I'm a massive gearhead who is always down to talk anything automotive, an avid gamer, and an absolute science nerd. When I'm not holding a pair of shears, you'll find me out camping and exploring the best of what Washington State has to offer.
